Sitges, Spain: Minutes Network (MN) and WorldCall Telecom Limited (WTL) signed a collaboration agreement for aggregation and termination of international wholesale traffic. The joint operations would be leveraging MN cutting edge traffic termination infrastructure that is redefining the telecom landscape through integration of blockchain technology into standard telecom operational framework.
Through this partnership MN taps into a major voice traffic aggregation hub in Middle East. Traditional international voice operations in the region carry higher volumes compared to other global hubs as access to OTT remains limited for international telephony in major traffic origination markets in the region. Beyond legacy voice traffic handling, MN proprietary technology stack would also be utilized by WTL for revenue assurance operations.
Under the agreement, MN would also provide services for Hello application for WTL. Hello app would be instrumental in activation of sharing economy on international wholesale traffic with inclusion of all stakeholders in the value chain.
Josh Watkins, CEO of Minutes Network lauded the agreement with WTL as its gives MN access to a major traffic hub across the globe. “Minutes Network is committed to delivering credible value escalation and revenue assurance to its interconnect partners. Through its blockchain platform, MN ensures that all stakeholders in the value chain benefit in a sharing economy architecture and activation of Hello application on WTL network would be a major transformation giving access to additional revenues.”
WTL executive director, Babar Ali Syed appreciated MN for its immense support in consolidating WTL positioning in a highly competitive international wholesale market. “Hello has been a major success for WorldCall in the past and MN revival of Hello brand can be transformative for WorldCall in further enhancing its service footprint in the region.”
